I love this bass. I looked at tons of other basses, but this was my favorite. I would buy this bass again if it was stolen or lost, if I could find one. Other than the slight buzz of the pickups, this bass is flawless.
Price: $200.00
Where Obtained: Top Shelf Music, Buffalo, NY
Features:
This is a Japanese-made bass. It's five-string and has 22 frets. It has Volume, Pan Pot, and Tone controls. The pickups are two passive j-style pickups. The body and head are not shaped like most Fenders.
Playability:
This bass plays extremely well. The neck plays easier than a Jazz Bass neck. Slapping and Popping sound great, and it sounds awesome with a pick.
Sound Quality:
I play this through an SWR LA-15. I play almost all music styles, although mainly jazz, funk, and rock. The pickups buzz slightly when used alone.
Durability:
This is a very durable bass, nearly never needs adjustments. The stap buttons seem strange, although it might just be the strap.
