Overall Rating:

At the time the only ones in my price range was a few lesser known brands, and the arm abusing Ovation...after getting a rash from playing the ovation, I foolishly bought the fender...
I sold it...If it had been stolen, I wouldn't miss it...
better ask how couldn't you make this bass better...
the best aspect, um, it taught me to take somebody who knows guitars with me when I shop...the clerk lied to me about it alot...
The worst aspect...I BOUGHT IT!
Maybe they have fixed it since (this was right after it came out...) but look elsewhere...and don't trust the sales guy unless you know him or her well...
Price: $450.00 (new)

Ok, read elswhere for the details... it was a short scale acoustic bass...active fishman preamp with onboard 5 band eq...
Fits in a regular Dreadnaught case...
Playability:

High action, the A string was much louder than the others...and was very feedback prone on the d string...
It balanced ok...but I don't understand why you make a middle sized AB...either make it like Martin/Taylor/Tacoma...or make it a thin body...
Its neck was really wide for a four string, and as stated that its action was very high...
Sound Quality:

It sounded nice but as I said, the strings didn't respond equally...and acousticly...forget it...no volume unless you play hard with a pick, and someone else plays a plywood $150 guitar fingerstyle...
Durability:

Ok...pet peive...offset plugs are fine on a solid body, not on a Acoustic unless it has some kinda suport plate like some washburns have...first time the pluged in I walked a little too far and the cable went taught, crack! cracked the wood around the jack...I barly pulled on it...A friend fixed it for me, and it was better due to a support system he devised...didn't take long till a tuner broke, and then the bridge began to seperate...
I sent to a school whith a friend and he got me a hundred bucks for it...good ridance...
I didn't look for other basses cause when i tried it i bought it!:-)
But now if you tell me to if i did a mistake i ll say not at all! This bass is very good!

MAde in Korea,21 frets.4 strings:Fender Phosphor 7060s.
Sleek shallow-body.Fishman Acoustic Matrix electronics.
It's very easy to play with this instrument and you can play hours without your fingers be tired!
Sounds very good unplugged and with an amp the same!
If you play with electric-acoustic basses live trust it!
I must say that i have treat it not so good and it still looks like new!
This is a fun little bass to mess around without dragging your amp everywhere. I also looked at epiphone, dean, alvarez and ovation and this is the one I liked the best. My favorite aspect is the sound quality, The action could be a little better.

If you want to try an acoustic, this is a nice one for the price. all maple body, Nato neck. I got the black one. Its a short scale 30", which I like as I am a beginning player. It has a fishman active electronics, piezo pickup under the bridge, rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets. I had also tried an epiphone but this one sounded much better.
Plays good and sounds good, the action is a little high though. I dont think you can really adjust it.
What sold me on this Bass was the tone. It really sound great unplugged or with and amp.
As far as durability, Its an Acoustic!! I wouldnt be taking it out on any punk gigs. It stays in tune very well and so far has not needed any adjustments.
