I love the sound of this bass. If someone stole it I would definately buy a new one. I am looking at getting a better bridge to get more sustain out of it, but besides that it's perfect.

Standard American Jazz. You know what it looks like. Maple neck. Stock Guitar and I like it that way.
Seeing as though I learned how to play bass on a Fender Jazz the playability is excellent.
I run this through an Ampeg SVT Classic and SVT 4-10 and the tone is one of a kind. Loads of bottom end and cuts through 2 drummers and 3 guitarist beautifully. The sound is full warm, and since I turn the Gain all the way up you get this fuzzy warm sound that will suck in people from off the streets. I use this setup to play blues, salsa, funk, jazz, bluegrass, and country.
This thing is built like a tank. I can't count how many times it's been knocked over, but the only thing that has happened to it is a bent tuner that quickly got replaced. I've been playing this bass exclusively since 98 and the only signs of wear are on the bottom side of the neck between the 3rd & 5th fret where my hand rubs against it. I usually have to adjust the neck twice a year. Once in the beginning of summer because of humidity and then again in the fall because of lack of humidty.
