Nice and portable. Not a great sound, but plenty respectable for a practice amp.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $130.00 (new)

Low, low-mid, high-mid, and high controls.
Headphone jack and line-out.
Basic practice amp with basic features.
Decent sound for a 15 watter. Can get somewhat noisy when the EQs are pushed to their extremes. Definantly not gigging gear, but great for practicing.
Simple to operate, but not a great amount of sounds can be obtained.
Hasn't left home since I got it, but this thing seems to be built very well.
Great stay at home practice amp.

It has an input, line going out, headphone jack, four equalizer controls, volume and of course an on/off switch.
Great sound for only a 15watt amp. I used it only for home practice.
Just the basic stuff. All u need for a practice amp that you plan on using just by yourself. Not loud enough to jam with drums or other electric instruments.
This amp is inexpensive, has a good sound to it, durable, and sleek looking. Plus its made by CRATE!

Perfect for Practice. EQ controls, headphone jack, extrenal speaker jack, 15 Watts. Nice and loud
Great for all sorts of playing, especially funk. excellent sound quality.
How easier could this be to operate?
Built like a tank. You could drop it out of the car going 70 down the highway and it would still play like it was brand new.
A perfect small amp to take with you anywhere you go, you know if something messes up, it's not the amp. great beginner amp.

Basic 4 band EQ, headphone plugin, one 8 inch speaker,
It's a great practice amp, i hate to say it's not loud enough for anything else
There are lots of sounds you can get, not that hard to get something different, very simple
Solid built. i sold it a while ago and the guy says it's still working fine.
Overall Rating:

Uck, its not worth its weight in liquid horse manure

Basic setup. Gain, Low, Low mid, High Mid, High knobs. Input, ext. speaker, and headphone jacks(all 1/4inch)
Sound Quality:

I play a Ibanz(?) Seies 10 through a Zoom 506 II into it. It is bad, especially at high volumes
Ease of Use:

Easy to understand, impossible to get good sound
Still Works, even though i try to kill it :-P, i dont know how it does it
It was way worth the money.

Very powerful for a small amp.
Pretty great sound quality.
Extremly easy to use with the manual especially.
This amp isnt great, but its probably better than other 15-watters out there. At high volumes, it tends to get a kind of buzzy and distorted sound, which is really annoying.

Very quiet, crappy sound quality.
Sound Quality:

CRAP - need i say more?
SIMPLE USE.....just plug and play
Pretty durable....hasnt been hurt yet, esp. with what its been through.
Good sound at low volumes, wretched sound above seven. However well built, this thing is a better doorstop than an amplifier.

Contains a four band equalizer, 15 watts, overdriven by a bass turned all the way up.
I play with an Ibanez SR400, and with the volume half up, the speaker is overdriven. Playing Metallica, Megadeth, and originals in the style of the priors, I cannot hear the overdriven dimensia coming from my amplifier. It is however, a suitable practice amp, for sitting directly in front of.
Of course it's easy to use, it only has five knobs. The book comes with a few presets that work for most styles, so there isn't much toying to do.
Can't say I've dropped this one out a twelve story window, but I haven't had a problem with it, being overdriven almost every time I play for a year. It's definately a well built box.
This a very good beginner practice amp, but really thats all its made for, practice. The low watts and speaker size make it easily drowned out by a set, so if your planning to playing in a band or live, I suggest you upgrade first.

Comes with a 4 band EQ for Low, Mid Low, Mid High, and High frequencies. Its pretty good for finding a sound you want.
I use only my Squier P-Bass on it and use it for punk, funk, and rock styles and it does well on all three. Its very good for a beginner like myself looking for a sound to go with, However, it doesn't come out as nice at really high volumes, after all, its only a 12W.
This is very good for begininers who haven't familiarized themselves with fiddling with EQs. Its fairly simple and very easy to use.
This amp isn't really made for live use cause of its size and watts, but it still is tough. I haven't expierianced any problems for the time I've owned it.
This amp is a nice little practice amp. I live in a once bedroom apartment, and it produces enough sound to p--- off my neighbors (not that I would EVER do anything like that). If this amp were to break or come up stolen, I wouldn't replace it, I would move up to a better amp.

There are 3 tone controls: Lo, Mid, and High. It has an output jack for an external speaker. Obviously, it has an input, volume, headphone jack, and a power on indicator. This dinky thing makes enough noise to happily fill my apartment.
I use an Ibanez GSR200 4-string with it as well as an Ibenez PD-7 Phat-Hed and an envelope filter. This amp suites me well in all styles of sound reproduction. The only thing that I don't like is when the amp is driving to hard, it will distort really bad. But as I said, this is a nice practice amp.
The publications that come with the amp show some basic settings to start from. After that, it is pretty easy to dial in a great sound.
So far, I haven't had any mafor problems with this POS, but then again I have had it about 6 months or so and I don't take it anywhere.
A good sounding and tough practice bass. It will suit just about anyone's style. Recommended.

5 knobs: volume, low, low mid, high mid, and high. it also has a jack for head phones. 15 watts so its good for practice.
It suits well for all styles. When its loud it does start to sound bad. But there is no need to play loud since its only a practice amp.
Pretty easy to use just doodle till you find what you like, wont be too hard to do. Has a good EQ for such a small amp.
This thing is tough, I have banged it around lots and it still looks great. Also used for a chair, and stool sometimes.
Overall, I think it is a pretty good, reliable, starting amp.

It has all the tone controls really needed for a beginner. It is really only powerful enough for practice sessions.
I think it is very well suited for other styles of play. However, at igh volumes it does sound dirty just like almost any other amp. For a 15w amp I think it is pretty loud.
It is not programmable or any of that kind of stuff, but it is really easy to use and set up.
I haven't had to repair it at all besides the outer plastic casing falling off. It is very reliable
I choose this amp, because it was the best thing I could get for this amount of money. I dont know if I would buy this amp again, maybe Ill save up a bit more and buy an Ampeg (this amps rulezzzz!!!).

Well, this very well made practice amp for the price.
It has 5 knobs, one for the gain, and the other 4 are for equalization (Low, Low-Mid, Hi-Mid and High).
Sound Quality:

I use this amp to play emo punk, and sometimes to play classic rock. I think this amp is better suited for playing any kind of styles, but maybe this amp is not very good to play punk. For example, is produces a very loud noise when I chord the D and G strings.
You can only turn the gain knob till 7 because then it starts to make loudy noises. This amp sucks at high volumes.
This Amp is a Rock!!!! Its avery well made amp, I think there is no way that this amp could be broken, also it is a very light amp. This amp is denifinitly not realiable for steady live playing.
Price/quality is marvellous.

Headphone jack is wonderfull for practicing at night!
Good enough in the bathroom!
Light to travel with (from basement to attic).
Very strong con-CRATE construction.
Very good practice amp if that's all you're using it for. If you've got the money, skip over this one and buy something more powerful. But if you just need a no-frills practice amp, you can't do much better. I've heard some truly awful practice amps before, and this ain't one of them.

Master volume, 4 band passive eq, line out, headphone jack. For a little 15 watt amp, it's actually pretty loud, but it still won't go loud enough to play with a drummer.
Not the greatest. Definitely not suitable for playing live, but as a practice amp for yourself, it should be fine. Sounds okay up until you turn it up to 7, then it starts distorting on the lower notes. The eq is surprisingly good, however.
5 knobs, clearly marked. All of the jacks are clearly marked, and getting a good sound is easy, given that you don't turn it past 7.
I've banged the thing around, sat on it, hit it with a baseball bat, and nothing seems to be able to damage it (well, I was lying about the baseball bat, but it's pretty durable). Very well constructed for something of such low wattage.

Good practice amp with solid sound, ok for playing with accoustic guitar.
Amp has no special effects.
Bad thing -> Amp has only one plug in.
I bought a splitter so that my friend could plug his guitar in while I plug my bass in.
I tried using the splitter with a drum machine, but it overpowered my bass (I guess because the drum machine had a pre-amp), so I ended up pluggin my drum machine into a ghetto blaster that had RCA inputs.
I have used this amp during my first year of bass playing. I am now ready to get a more powerful unit.
I will keep this amp though for my drum machine or for visiting guitarist or whatever. It has served its purpose well.

I play a Dean Quad-4 4-string with no active electronics.
I play Rock/blues.
When buying this amp, I compared it with the others in the same class, such as a Hartke, and the next size larger Crate and I liked this Crate best.
Plug and play, easy to transport.
Very sturdy. Overkill for a practice amp.
This amp is perfect for what it is intended for, practice. Although if you want to play with anyone I would suggest a large amp. If it was lost or stolen I would certainly purchase a new one.

Very simple amp, perfect for a practice amp. Features: Power switch,4 Band EQ, Volume, Headphone Jack, Extension Speaker Jack. Greatest thing about it is it's wieght, super light
I use a Memphis 4 stirng, The amp I remarkbly loud for an amp it's size. (As my upstairs nieghbors can tell you.) Very clear tone, although definately not a thumper at high volumes. Need to turn low bass down at these volumes to loose it's muddyness
Like a Rock that was armored with 3" plate steel. I could drop this off a three story house, kick it down the street, then plug it in and practice with my friend.
If your looking for a practice amp, than this should be fine for you. Your not going to be able to do anything else with it really however. It's extremely portable though.

It has an input, a line out, a headphone jack, four equalizer controls, a volume control and an on/off switch. Basic features for a basic amp. It's a practice amp and I think it has all the features you would need in a practice amp.
I like my Randal RG30X alot better, but it sounds alright for being so small. It's noisy if you crank it all the way up.
Plug and play, not much easier than that.
I've banged it around a couple times with no mishaps. Very solid construction.
