The bass "triplet" technique is reflected in this composition, showing how complex and cool a metal song can be (I think). The key is C# minor, and the music has a simple structure of verse, verse, bridge, chorus. The bass tapping solo in the middle of the instrumental section is very simple to play, but it sounds very strong and powerful (in the neoclassical style).

The verse progression is: C#m5-F#m-B
The bridge progression is: C#m5-B-C#m5-F#m-F#m-E5-C#m5
The chorus progression is: E5-B-C#m5-G#-A-B

The record was done with a standard E A D G tuning, and 4 guitars were used to record: 2 Yamaha Pacificas, 1 Fender Strat, and 1 Kramer Flying V). There are 2 basslines in some parts, like at 0:26 until the first verse, and in the tapping solo.
