Karma Lesson

So, maybe four years ago I bought a bass from some guys on Craigslist. The band had just moved down from the NE to try to make it in Dallas and needed cash. I met them in the parking lot of a Hooters to buy the bass - and it seemed like they were having a little bit of a tough time of it. So I took them inside and bought them lunch.

Last night I was down at a local club and noticed that one of the guitar cases had the same name stenciled on it as the case for my StingRay. Turns out it was the same guys and they were going to be playing much later in the evening. It also turns out that the bartender was in the band. They remembered me - and the Hooters thing.

Guess who got free drinks?

Cool story Garry. It's amazing how a good deed can come back later.

Man, that was really nice of you Garry. Can't ask for a nicer gesture...you bought them all some grub, and you didn't even know them, aside from buying their bass.
