Hey Steve!

I am doing okay mate. I am doing some part time work as well as being self employed at the moment to make ends meet. But the band is going well and I am playing most weekends. I still have those lovely straps you made for me. Pity you had to give that up. They are an excellent product.

I saw someone at a farmers market here in Ireland recently selling homemade leather products that they made themselves. I thought about you and how you could clean up if you were in a similar situation selling your wares.

Sounds like you're keeping yourself VERY busy mate, glad to hear that things are going, at the very least, okay for ya!

It's been a bit of a struggle on this side of the pond as well. I've been teaching myself some airbrushing, and even tried a landscape or two (made good Christmas presents...lol). Here's one I did of a beach in New Zealand...a night scene.
The horizon wasn't tilted on the painting, just in the photo...lol.



Not making money at it yet, but it's kept me from playin' with my toes anyway...ha!

I'm also building a home darkroom, to get back into film photography...hoping to sell some prints eventually. Matter of fact, I just sold most of my leather tools last night to get a few extra $$ to put into the construction. It makes me happy to hear that you are still enjoying your straps!

Wow Bro, nice indeed! Air Brush huh? seems a nice technique to try out, just go for it Bro, you have the steady hand and the straight eye to make ART!(don't mention the Yuengling though!)...LMAO

Thanks Bro, it's been fun to play with. I just find a picture from some remote area of the world that strikes my fancy, and use it for inspiration onto the canvas.

Been stayin' away from the Yuenglings lately, but I'm sure it's just a phase...lol!

I had a Teacher that could do Air Brush painting!! So, the Photo bug as bitten you are well! LOL!!

Hi ya Hawk, yep, I'm still alive and kickin'! Hated to get rid of the leather tools, but they were just collecting dust. My schooling was in photojournalism at San Antonio College, way back when. Thought I'd try dusting off those old skills, and see if I can't make a few bucks. I picked up a couple of enlargers locally, now I'm building the darkroom sink (6'x2'), and working out the fresh air system. Keeping me off the streets at night anyway...lol. Hope all is going well for ya my friend!
