I've got a SR500 with bart. pu's.You have a really nice playing bass.I once tried a SR1000 and it was sweet.

sweet, you know what i did also to the Barts i installed a seymour
duncan pre amp to replace the crap ibanez one, and man it really
pumps the bass to a higher level, i totally recommend this to be
done to any ibanez with barts.

Nice Carvin...I've read several times that the jazz pickup configuration is much better sounding than the single and humbucker.
