AB Errors?

Anyone else getting errors here at AB? Or is it just me? When I pull up Fretbuzz I just kept getting this:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'

Invalid use of Null: 'cLng'

/fretbuzz/entry.asp, line 8

I've been getting a lot of that kind of thing lately here.

I recently responded to a post and explained that the site is SLOW for everyone. Not making a connection to that post here, but....
Since then I have to open the forums in a new window. Clicking on "Fretbuzz" does absolutely nothing unless I right click and select the "Open in New Window" option. Even then when I select that (or anything else) it can literally take 2-4 minutes (timed it a couple of times!) before anything pops or opens up, if at all. I enjoy the site, There are a handfull of folks that frequent the site and that I enjoy their posts, but this is REALLY becoming an unusable site.

It worked lickety split his time.

I much prefer here - apart from 'the look' of AB,
I find it's the best forum structure in terms of
answering exactly the person you want you

this IMO. I can put up with the 'no edit

I couldn't agree more. Between notification of replies and the indented threads it's the perfect structure for conversation.

It's gotten to be a necessary evil if you have a band. So many of my friends are over there too. Bands contact me there. Few people even email me anymore they just send me a message on facebook. I can't really be myself there though. With all the women there it's just a matter of time until I p--- one off or they misunderstand what I'm saying. Had that happen today. It's OK for them to man bash but start telling the truth about women and it gets their vagina all in a wrinkle! That's probably the biggest thing that anoys me about facebook. I better stop because I'm on the brink of a rant.

We downed a few for sure! But, we weren't killing ourselves to get it done. Probably did it over a two week period. First time I ever put an engine in. But, doing it little by little made it a lot easier to take.

It was only after a couple of seconds that I

I don't know how to say this without giving the
impression of arrogance or snobbery, but I'm going
to anyway....

I can't understand why there are a few people who
are quick to diss AB when it's having problems,
vote with their feet and moan their butts off
about AB being screwed publicly on FB and the
likes, so on and so forth YET they don't do the
obvious, logical grown-up thing and just simply
email Jim Burger themselves.

He's such an approachable guy, and there's no need
to be abusive or pushy with him - he immediately
talks with Chris and they try and solve the
problems.

At least you Dave bring up the alert that
something's wrong, ask if anyone else is having
problems etc and that way we can get onto it. You
don't vote with your feet and it's obvious you
want to see it put right rather than say "stuff
it, this free site doesn't behave like I want -
I'm gone!"

It would be really good if other people got to
know Jim and contacted him when they saw a
problem. That way he'd get the impression that
I'm not the only one here who cares to talk to
them.

It also makes it awkward for me at present because
it seems the only thing I have to say when the
subject of AB comes up with Jim is in the way of a
complaint about speed/problems etc. I sort of get
the impression that if I didn't contact him, the
whole thing would die - it shouldn't be that way.

I certainly appreciate your approach Dave and so
too do I appreciate the others who have posted
here recently and just aren't 'fair weather
sailors'

Straight talk I love it!

For me I always have such a crappy computer that Im never sure if it is the site or my computer, hence the post. I didnt see anyone else complaining about it so I thought maybe it was just my computer.

Im guilty of relying on you to contact Jim. Heres why: I know that you have met him and talk to him. So, if you contact him he is going to know that there is a legitimate problem as you know the site well and how it is supposed to function. But, I can contact him in the future no big deal. But, Im still going to always have to post and question if others are having a problem because again Im never sure with this abacas of a computer I have.

I guess Im probably going to be an AB lifer. I have always liked the way the site was setup. I have made many friends here. All sites are going to have problems from time to time. But, they do seem to get them fixed reasonably quick when they know there is a problem.
