Surgery again

I had surgery to rpair rotator cuff tear in Feb. Lately I have been getting alot of pain during therapy. Told my doctor that I was not making any progress. He said to get an MRI and xray. He told me that my shoulder did not heal and I need another surgery. I was shocked and can't believe it. I don't want to relive that hell. I haven't played in the band since January last year, I'm really bummed.

patience Pat it is a long road back from this surgery. The second surgery shouldn't be as invasive and hopefully recovery might happen quicker. If you don't have the surgery your quality of life might go downhill

Thoughts and prayers going your way for a speedy recovery. Where I come from it's customary for the family of a surgery recipient to buy said recipient lots of bass gear, including basses, amps and effects.

Sorry Pat. I hope the new surgery works out for you. My wife had that surgery about 4 years ago. Took forever to heal and therapy....man, after the first therapy and the pain she went thru, I dreaded just driving her up there for them. But it's all over and she has about 85-90 percent full range movement now. So now the the "Honey, can you reach up and hand me that...." is a bit more frequent. Other than that everything seems back to normal.

I had lots of prayer at church today and I thank everyone here too! I am hoping for BWC approval, keep me in your prayers please. Someday I hope to get back to the bass, as she has been lonely we miss each other.

Sounds like you are going down a road I once travelled. I too had 2 surgeries on my shoulder and unfortunately I received some relief but never came back 100%.

I wish you all the luck and a speedy recovery.
