I haven't been under the knife (yet) so I can't speak from the perspective of post-operative recovery but am inclined to think time and patience are called for. I can understand your chomping at the bit to get playing as soon as possible but you don't want to do anything to slow down the healing process.

What did you have done to your shoulder? Wing removal??

I had a full depth rotator cuff tear,and they took out a bone spur and cleaned up the ball joint caused by arthritis
