Well, I got the neck in, and it is sooooo nice. The neck I bought was unfinished and undrilled. I put a finish of Tru-Oil on it, about 6 coats. For those not knowing, Tru-Oil is actually gun stock finish, but it is very easy to put on, dries super hard, is easy to maintain, and relatively cheap. PLUS, even though it is technically an 'oil', Warmoth is perfectly happy with its use and it does not void the warranty on Maple necks as other oils do. So I got the neck pocket cleaned out...very happy with my hand-made template. I also got the bridge - by Hipshot. Excellent bridge, solid brass, body-through. Sooooo....here are the prerequesite pics hehehe:

obviously a front view. The fretboard is actually Indian Rosewood, I just have it covered with masking tape for protection which is why it looks white.

and the back view.
This is turning out to be a far nicer bass than Betty was. Charlotte looks like she is a mile long! About Wednesday I should be getting one of the PUPS. A bit more sanding and I start a new adventure with her...FRENCH POLISH woohooooooo.
