Now I am aware that a numbers of AB'ers would rather plug their bass into a washing mashine rather than using Hartke amps and cabs and in some cases I tend to agree. However after spending loads of money on amps and cabs over the last couple of years, and making a nuisance of myself on this forum I have finally found THAT RIG and THAT sound I have been looking for (and with plenty of headroom. And yes it is Hartke. Hartke HA5500 plus the very new Hartke AK410 and AK115 cabs. Not only do I love the sound but so too does my band and punters. Yes it is a great feeling when you finally nail that sound you have been craving. Also on another plus it is not an expensive rig in comparison to other major brands. Yep you can't wipe the smile off my face. Now I'm off to sell a s--- load of gear, oh, and I promise I will no longer make a nuisance of myself on this forum.
