well it's done! we played the pub last night. not one of our best performances, the first set wet a little wrong, mainly because the mikes were not set properly so there was too much fiddling around. My debut lead vocal could have gone better, didn't help that I went down with a sore throat three days before and the guitarist forgot the chords during the first verse! still we sorted it out for the second set and blasted it out and even got an encore, so all in all not too bad.
Reminds me of JackA$$ II when the one fool glues what he "thinks" is fake beard hair onto his face. Then when he apoproaches the guys in the parking lot, they pull down their pants to show-off their cleany shaven pubic area! lmao!!
ah Paul..... I've got hair bands..... it gets tied up when needed, and anyway, with the state of some of the patients I see, the last thing i want is my hair dangling over them!
I think our local plod's are relaxing the uniform code a little now. We have a couple of bobbies with longer hair these days, and there is one who has dreads (and he's white! lol) i think the dress code is the same as it is for us now and that is if it's a certain length then it has to be tied back!
The peavey 115 is 50 watts. I was surprised when i bought it because it sounds like it pumps out so much more power. I didn't need to take it much over half way up for the gig which was the real surprise.
