For me it has been Tom Waits. When I was growing up I really loved his tunes then when the 2000's hit and I was onto other things (and he hadn't done and album since I was a kid almost 10 years) I had fallen off the Tom Waits wagon. Then in the last year really I have tuned back in and really enjoy him more now. After my 13 years on the bass and going back to this I have found a greater loved in his musicians and song writing. Really great solid upright at all times with just the most odd of song structures.
