Is your band still playing gigs?

Yeah.... Quest For Ted are still on the go. Not as busy as we used to be though. A lot of pubs and clubs have stopped doing music in recent times due to so many people losing their jobs over here. Very little disposable income.

We still play about twice a month though. How you doing on the band front?

I hate hearing about how everyone has been affected by the terrible economy. It's sad...

Is your new business getting better, or has it stayed about the same? What's the unemployment rate in Ireland? Here it's about 10%, but that figure is a lot worse than it indicates. If I remember correctly, you're a finance guy, so your probably more in touch with the world economy than I.


Quest for Ted....Twice a month isn't bad at all....that's how often I'd like to gig. My band is getting ready to play it's first "paying" gig this Friday. I just posted our recent "photo shoot" pictures in the misc. forum.

According to The Central Statistics Office the unemployment rate in Ireland is 12.7% at the moment.

I am actually a Building Surveyor Rog. Business isnt as bad as it was. It has picked up a bit for me but I am certainly not as busy as I would like to be.

Ahh yes, I do remember...now that you've reminded me. Yeah, I was talking to someone in the housing industry (builder), who said that business is finally starting to show mild signs of impoving.

As far as the gig...thanks for the well wishes.
I'll likely play 80% on the Dargie II Stingray, and will have a J bass as a back up.
