Hi gang, I feel like my world has just turned upside down........
My wife had some abdominal pain and went in for an ultrasound. It turns out she has a fibrous growth about the size of an orange on her right ovary. With any luck she should be in for surgery this week, we won't know for sure until it's removed and a biopsy done.......
Anyway, prayers for a good outcome would be really appreciated.
Thanks everyone - my wife had a consult with a specialist today and got some encouraging news. While they wont know for sure until it's removed & biopsied the word was that it was highly improbable to be the "c" word which took an enormous weight off our shoulders. Of course now that they don't consider it potentially life threatening means she may have to wait a little longer for the surgery......as much as I like universal medicare programs the system needs improvement (there was an item in the paper this week about 190 nurses being laid off due to funding cuts - how about 190 administrators getting the boot instead?).

OK!! I'm happy to hear this News!! Well, the Health system now is in a Big Mess!! Yeah, lay some of the Admin people before the Nurses. :^|
