We'll, its curtain call time for Scorpions. They have a new record out in two months, "Sting in The Tail", and then they'll have a farewell tour. If it is not ridiculously expensive I'll be going.
They are not my favourite band, but they are in the top 15, they've always been there all my life, so it's sort of sad.
That's too bad. I always liked "Love Drive". I bought it before the original artwork was banned. What a joke! A little bubble gum on the boob never hurt anyone. As a gum chewer and a boob sucker I know this first hand...hehehe! There was no nipple showing... what was the problem? I saw them live probably before you were born...LOL! They put on a great show! I always thought they were a great bass player and great drummer away from being a great band. The vocalist and guitarists were very talented. The bass and drums were always pretty basic. But, a lot of great songs with great hooks! I guess you have to throw in the towel at some point. They've been around a LONG time. They'll be missed.
