In mid March I'll have the cash and am planning on buying a new one from a dealer, but if someone has one they just haven't gotten on with or need to sell let me know.

I am looking for the new 2009 features: slimmer neck, full width inlays, adjustable pup poles, and vintage tone circuit.
I'll pay new price, which is from $1600-1800 street price from a dealer.
Warranty is not an issue, as I'll be modding this to a 5 string eventually anyway.

I prefer no major dings or damage.
I live in Canada, so shipping is an issue.

As I said, Im getting one in March anyway, so I'm just checking to see if there's one needing a good home here first.

I currently have three Ricks, a 1976 4000 FG, a 1977 4001 White, and a 1981 4080 JG, so I am well aware of whayt to expect from a Rick bass and am very comfortable with the overall feel and sound.
I've been playing that 4000 since 1986.
