Sometimes I think Geddy swings both ways. NO!.... not men and women but up-beat and down-beat. Kind of like how a guitarist will go back and forth with a alternating pick. He hits the string on a downward motion then brings the pick back up hitting it again. I think Geddy does pretty much that same thing at times only with his fingers. Sure sounds like that's what he's doing at times to me. But, I just play it straight.
