Of course I want to be come a better Bass player myself, but if I can help other people even better, I'm about to do my first lesson soon, but I have to figure out how to do it first, but no problem. I will get there. Look out for it see what you think.

Sure... I spent three years playing bass for my Church. However, my faith was never a topic of conversation on AB. I've seen too many AB blowups when we venture away from bass topics into the religious and potical.

It's cool Keith. You are most welcome to have faith say you have faith or proclaim you read the bible. Saying you have faith doesn't constitute a religious post. People just don't want to see the site get into a full blown religious discussion that's all. Some people can't handle it and passions can run high. People who never had faith have a hard time grasping the concept. Then some people have so much faith they can't stay open minded about the whole thing. Personally I think both sides make compelling arguments. We get into this discussion at practice sometimes. We have a Christian and an Atheist in the band. They both make great points and I end up being the mediator making arguments for both sides. I'll have to bring it up at band practice tonight. It's been a while. But, the two guys in my band can discuss it while still respecting each other. It never gets heated and is always interesting. Re-reading this post I better end now. What I have written could be misunderstood as a religious post by the Damned....LOL! As a matter of fact I better add some balance to this post. Here is a little serenade for the wicked:

Yes we did... Hallowed Be Thy Name (that way I can play it too with
my friends in Ibiza).

But... our new drummer was told by his boss: either you work until
22h (instead of 19.30), or we kick you out... and our practice time
is from 20.00 to 23.00

Great tune! We end with that one every night. That sucks about the drummer. But, unless the band is paying the bills a mans gotta do what he's gotta do to pay them. Our practices have gotten really sporadic. Our singer has been out of town a lot with work. We've been lucky to get in two practices a month. That's not so bad when we are giggin' twice a week. But, our schedule is pretty light at the moment.

My basses have always been she's...and I thump them, slap them, pop them pluck them strum and stroke them.

Yes I think this site meets all my needs, well the needs that don't require a box of tissues anyway,
It has good conversation, some weird postings.... some wise postings and then there are my postings etc....... there are great lessons to be learned... plus the reviews normaly tell you how crap your new Bass is.....
