She must be a keeper....

Well I'm sure some of you saw the sweet Aria P bass I purchased last week. Well, I get home from work today and there is a little card on the table.
I open it up and start reading, and you wouldn't believe what it said....

My girlfriend informed me that she sent out my Guitar Center credit card payment for $300 to cover the expense of the bass. How sweet is that!?!

She said that since my birthday is next month, she couldn't think of a better gift to get me.

Of course, she said I CAN'T sell it...AND...it's name has officially become "Sylvester" the bass.

Yes, I can see it now...

The two of you wearing matching button-down shirts and red sweaters, khakis, and loafers on a sunny, crisp cool fall afternoon at the city park, walking your new white standard sized poodle while throwing seeds to eagerly awaiting pigeons...

So, Rog, I think your dad is right. Great minds do think alike.

Until then Rog, cooldealio but besure to inform her that the new bass will need a nice new cab and amp to go with it.

lol...Matt, I've created a MONSTER of a post here. She knows full well that I'm always swapping basses. When I got the new Carvin catalog-she asked if I was going to sell it to buy a new Carvin! lol

Truth is, I like the bass. It plays as nice as some of the American P basses I've owned in the past. I'm currently painting it....long process. I have to wait a week before I can wet sand it and polish. Check the equipment forum in a bit.
