Well, after two and a half years of playing my
upright, I finally have to take it in to be
repaired/restored. It is rendered unplayable at
this point due to a seam crack so bad that I can
fit a folded piece of paper into it, rusted
strings, the top needs some edging work done, the
endblock/endpin and nut have always been a
problem, the bow needs rehaired, etc.

Does anyone know how much this would cost me
(ballpark). I am getting the whole 'We have to
see it first!' bit from everyone around here.
