In the 80's I knew of a Boston band named 'Scnt'... nothing like limiting your marketability.

Theres a Band here in Wicklow at the moment called "Free Beer" too. As far as I can remember they are the third band over the last 20 years in these here parts to have that exact name. Someone should copyright that name and make a fortune.....

my first band was channel 7. people kept thinking we were the local news or something, but we called ourselves that because we were all fisherman and thats the channel we would stay on our CB's while we were out working.

I had a band approach me, wanting me to be their bassist, but I turned them down because of their name. STANK FINGER! Sorry, it needs a more positive meaning for me.

That's funny! I had the same thing happen to me with a band called "Stinky Pinky'. I turned them down.
