I love motorcycles. Last Sunday I rode mine to the top of Mt. Mitchell in the North Carolina mountains. Mount Mitchell is the highest peak of the Appalachian Mountains and the highest peak in eastern North America, excluding island summits. The nearest higher point east of the Rocky Mountains is Harney Peak in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Beats sitting at home. The clouds come over the peak and suddenly you are in them. A couple of minutes later it's blue sky again.
