You may recall I posted an item a week or so ago regarding a David Eden 1 x 18 cab.........well, I bought it. It sounds amazing and the price was very right.
I'm gonna need a roadie (or get to tgym & pump sonme iron) LOL
I haven't done too much with the pups yet. I'm going to create a wiring diagram for that bass tonight so I can at least get started on that. It's been an expensive month this March for me (I get paid once a month) so I probably won't be purchasing anything new until April.
I really like the sound of Eden cabs too. I'd planned on adding a 1 x 15 cab to my rig this year but this one just fell into my lap at a price I couldn't say no to.
Thanks Don, it's a Yorkville BassMaster400 that I'm renting. My Hartke has been acting up (waiting for the bad news from the shop) and figured I'd try one of these - it's a very nice head. Great tonal control and variety.
If my Hartke is going to be too expensive to fix I may end up ordering a Carvin B800 (half the price of the Yorkville).
Hey Brian -Nice rig!!! Is that Yorkie an 800 Watt version? I love those heads...I have one myself and I think it would be a mistake to trade it in for a Carvin IMHO...thats one loud, tonal amp!...Peace...Russ
Thanks, after playing on the Yorkville head for a couple of weeks I've got to agree that they're great sounding. It makes the idea of going back to the Hartke pretty unappealing (it'll make a good back up). My guy over at Long & McQuade has offered me a pretty attractive price on the Yorkville - I wish I could put it "head to head" with the Carvin. Decisions, decisions........
