How can someone make ttwo amps without sterio into sterio?

for example, i am don't think my mesa boogie walkabout can be used in stereo (maybe it can), but I am wondering how one could do this if the amps normally can be ran in stereo.

could my amp run stereo? I don't think so....

thank you

Bass amps are generally mono not stereo, most bass players don't have the need. Carvin is the only company that I can think of that normally offers a bass amp with a stereo power section but it has a mono pre amp and theirs is generally either bi-amped or bridged by the user.
Most bass players don't explore the possibilities available for amplification, bass-amp-speaker is all most of them need or can handle.

Hi Dave,

I can not answer your question. But I can add: I have an swr 900 that can run in stereo. I use a 2x10 cab and a 1x15 cab. When I have played in stereo(which I never do now), I put the volume to the 15 a little higher than the 2x10 cab. This brought out the bottom a little. I was trying to get a little fatter sound. It worked. Does your amp have a crossover? Than might be another option to do the same thing, GOOD LUCK and have fun.

I've been experimenting with this. If you run your stereo lines into a small mixer, the mixer can combine them for a mono signal to the amp. There doesn't appear to be any signal degradation, and you still have the luxury of the entire signal going through a preamp, all for the low price of a small mixer.
