i just use the amp. i had a rackmount tuner for awhile. i'd like to have an extra amp for backup. maybe a compressor if you're into them, i'm not.

A chromatic tuner would be nice, as well as an compressor. An effects processor would also be good.

effects are cool but when i had mine i felt i was spending too much time playing with them. i would like to have an envelope filter, but i can't seem to find any to try around here. i was never good with effects but i know a lot of bassist that really make them shine.

Got a Korg tuner and a Line 6 Bass Pod Pro nestling in me rack at the moment. The Pod's on it's way out (unwanted prize) but will be replaced with a rackmount compressor.

Definitely a rack tuner. They are just too coooool not to have.

especially the ones with the lights that zip back and forth while you're playing! i neeed one of those!
