Yeah, they've got that one and another with no pickguard (Jaco style). I've played the modded P-bass too and it is really nice too.

i saw one of these last week and was considering getting one for the price, since they dont sell american fenders in natural.

i want to upgrade the pickups and so forth. congrats

That's exactly my plan. I'll do pickup upgrades and hardware upgrades down the road, but I figure one could do a lot worse for $279.

Yeah, the natural look is killer. My T's natural too, so they'll make a good pair. I got into this look when I played my first Fender '75 reissue a few years ago and just had to have one.

However, I can't afford the Fender reissue, so I'm going to have the Squier hot rodded. It's got the feel, the tone, and the look, so I'm pulling the trigger.

I'll probably stick with chrome since I've already got the BadAssII, but new tuners and pickups are already being considered.

It will be a great bass when I'm done. I'm in no hurry though.
