How about....

Some world clocks on Fretbuzz so we easily see what time it is around the world.

For example we can laugh at the Americans when we in the UK finish at 4pm on a Friday and it's still 11am/10am or 9am in the US

You get my drift.

Craig,

I actually know two very nice ones. They are amazingly normal.

But early warnings are always useful, it's good to know when to duck to avoid low flying broomsticks.

Exactly my point, I get mighty confused when I'm on AB and I see you, Mo, PC Plod et al online and I'm sure that it must be the middle of the night.

Yeah but that means navigating away from AB.

So what I thought was several clocks across the top and when a member logs on their session is shown under/next to the nearest timezone. lol!

I'd just open them in a second window. That way you don't need to navigate away from AB. That's also why I include the target="new" or target="_blank" parameter in the a tag, to launch the links in a new window.

I agree though that a time zone bar or something would be nice but from the way AB has been maintained I think it'll be a long while before anything like that happens. :-(

I went to the World Clock link in Paul's(?) post above and made myself a Personal World Clock listing. Unfortunately, it's not postable anywhere, it's just on the timeanddate.com site.

In the meantime, let's try this weather sticker to see not only what the time is all over the world, but what kind of weather they're having as well:

I'm not sure if the time display comes from your own computer or the wunderground.com site. I'm posting this around 7 pm Central Daylight time; the time listed on the post is just about 8 pm Eastern Daylight time.

Let's play with it and see what happens!
