Identity Theft.

an African Man posing as a TV licence inspector just came to my house.

He's saying "There is no record of a TV Licence for this Address".

Flashed his I.D. at me.

So I get him on the Phone to my mum, who quickly begins an Argument with him.

and i just stand there, Cracking my knuckles xD

And he quickly runs out the front gate, says "oh dear, sorry madam i have the wrong house".

And I ask to see his I.d. Again, looks genuine enough.

Mind you, probably not Hard to Fake.

So look out for this if you're in the UK.

The Nigerian government have just put out a massive warning about them here in the U.K. It's not like most people will be stupid enough to fall for their offers, but some people do, so just be careful is all...my advice would have been to give that dude a sharp 'not interested, thanks' and close the door on him.

Am I missing something? This is probably a very stupid question, but do you need a license to own a TV?

We get TV for free unless you use cable or satellite. However, we don't need a license.

Yeah, but then you only get three channels!

Remember those days, Pete?

I remember when you didn't channel surf and you actually had to get up and change the channel. I was my dad's remote control!

So, I spent most of my time on my bike or going fishing!

Hey Bo,

I had no idea you were that old. So you no doubt also remember changing the channel to something everyone wanted to watch, and when you went to sit down, the reception would go bad.

So everyone would yell at you to go back and stand beside the television so they could watch the show.

;)

Ah the memories, I remember 'rabbit ears' only too well. Do you remember the days when every house had an antenna on the roof? Communities looked very interesting in those days.

We had 4 channels. ABC, NBC, CBS and Public Television on Channel 12. One TV in the house and the parents made the choices.

I have 6 TV's now with two hooked to cable :^)
