They don't suck. I don't really like them, but they are ok. I like Fenix Tx better.

I remember fenix TX when they were still River Fenix... back in the day though.. then they started getting managed by blink. I dunno... i just have probs with bands that dont sound good live... and just make good recordings. that bugs me a bit... does anyone else feel this way?

i dont wanna offend anyone, but punk in genral sucks. its vjust that blink is better at sucking than other punk bands

i listen mostly to jazz and jazz fusion and also rock from the 60's and 70's. anyway...what people have been saying about blink being good because they have a big following and ar popular, thats b.s. because nowadays, when a band is poular and they make a lot of money, the quality of the music is usually compromised since their producers have all the control because so much of their money is riding on the record. I hate Blink!

all i have to say is that they are probably the biggest sell-outs ever of any band in any genre of music, but i still think dude ranch is an awesome album, and "josie" and "apple shampoo" are great songs.

I'm just going to throw my three cents of logic here. Three because I am a little long winded. I will say that my only real knowledge about Blink 182 is the songs that I have heard on the radio and an article in Rolling Stone but I will say that they are not great musicians, but they are entertainers. So the question that I pose is do you not like them because they are not great musicians or because you are jealous. In the article in Rolling Stone, as biased as it might be, the guys come across very non chalant about there success. I don't think their goal in life was to be great musicians. Their goal in life was to have fun, bang around on some instruments, hang out with pornstars, and not take anything to seriously. And guess what, they have accomplished that, so the next time you look at a band and say they sold out or they suck, or I hate those guys, think about the fact that their goals might be different than yours. They might not want to be what you want to be and that doesn't make them suck, it just makes them different. More power to em. I'll tell you, I can play about as well as their bassist but I go home to my little apartment from my crappy job, they go home to their fat houses and play video games all day, and get paid to play music. I don't hate them, I'm jealous. But they do suck.

Hey, when you make 3 kick a-- cd's, make millions of dollars endorsing products, have a following like Blink 182, and still act as cool as Mark, Tom, and Travis,.. then someone will give a s--- what you think,..until then, shut the f--- up because you have no clue what you're talking about. I also dont see where people get the idea that they're bad musicians, am I the only one hearing Tom Delonge's riffs even as a 17 year old on Cheshire Cat. The weak link of the band (if you could say such a thing) would have to be Travis,.. Scott Raynor was 3 times a better drummer and 10 times as cool.And I dont see many three-piece bands producing a sound quite as ballzy as Blink 182, with the exception of MxPx- who openly admit they love Blink. So when anyone can make an honest case that Blink 182 sucks in any way feel free to e-mail me your proof, until then live with the jealousy you obviously have, and keep your unknowing mouth shut. Thanks.
Oh, and by the way, just so everybody knows if you dont already, Eminem SUCKS!!!

Oh, and by the way, their music hasn't "changed" necessarily, it has evolved. It's not their fault some bands go through their entire careers without adding something to the music. In my opinion that would suck to hear the same thing from a band time after time. And as far as going pop is concerned, they didn't change to focus on teeny-boppin' bitches at MTV, but when they did change their sound MTV just happened to pick it up and play it. It's also ironic that Travis, the most punk of the three just happened to arrive when they did go the way of MTV.
And another thing, Jeff Albanese can kiss my punk a-- because he apparently doesnt know s--- about anything either. Punk has just as much quality in its sound and twice the heart as any other genre of music. Jeff is probably a lover of the 80's hair bands or still p---ed off that Blink passed *NSync on the charts sometime.
Oh, and another thing, boy bands SUCK too, and so does country, hip hop, and anything by the Grateful Dead.

You're a newbie on this site. This place is a bit different then some other sites you might frequent. Saying "music style X sucks" or "member X can kiss my ass" isn't going to get you very far around here. This is not a venue for childish personal attacks. You haven't filled out a home page so we don't know anything about you but let's just say that based on the existing evidence we're going to have a hard time taking you very seriously. Jealousy? hmm... can be true... only in some cases. Now, when i say i dislike them, it is because i've had a personal expirience with them hanging out back stage at warped tour when i played, so i do have proof... but its JUST HOW I FEEL. Dont take things so harshly... actually no one should... its not a fight I'm trying to start, i just wanted to catch peoples reactions... and i've seen quite a few... and i can actually say i feel bad about ever posting this. People feel differently... but its just opinions... comments shouldnt be so rough... and you know what... i'll take all the blame for this... if you wanna be mad at someone, be mad at ME.
