Reminder on Etiquette
Just a quick reminder to let you know that if you start leveling personal insults in FretBuzz, the thread is gone.
These types of situations are particularly annoying because everyone begins to feel the need to comment on it, when in fact, you should either be talking about bass, or playing your bass (or at this time of year, spending some time outside and getting some fresh air).
Thanks for listening.

Did I ever tell you folks about the time I found a quarter outside of the Guitar Center last year?

I'm confused. My post about a quick review for newbies was serious. Newbies at all sites have a habit of making themselves look more stupid than they really are, and it takes a lot of self control for the "oldies" to refrain from busting on them. Some of us fail to maintain this restraint.
Since you automatically know whether a visitor is a member, it wouldn't hurt to have a pop-up page that sort of explained the ground rules.
OK, so I stuck in a jab at one of our more famous members, but he's been stomping on everyone's posts for a while now. And I didn't think I was overly "personal" about it.
Did I phrase something poorly? I never got to see the replies...
