i like the idea matt, but the amount of server space, i think, would be filled up quite quickly, and the way the home page photos have to be anchored from another site....that tells me too much space right there and they might charge??? man i hope not.....still like the idea, even for basses....all set at flat eq settings....

I understand the server space issue, and I wasn't suggesting that AB should nessesarily (i can never spell that) host the files themselves, free webspace is commonplace now, AOL users get a little bit with thier account, and there are various places on the web you can get some (web space that is ;) ).

So a text link to the file on a seperate webspace, as part of the review, would be cool.

If not, is it possible to include a link as part of the text in the review, using HTML??

Because we give you the ability to put HTML in your reviews, if you want to put in a link to how a particular piece of equipment sounds, you can use the following syntax:

<a href="[the Url to the sound file]">[The name of the link]</a>

For example, if you know the link to the sound of a Dunlop Bass Crybaby is http://www.jimdunlop.com/audio/cry_bass.wav, you could write:

<a href="http://www.jimdunlop.com/audio/cry_bass.wav">Love the sound of the Crybaby</a>

and it will appear in your review as:

Love the sound of the Crybaby

that is an sweet idea.

Seeing as i suggested it, I thought I'd best do it ;) I've reviewed my Bass Balls and....put a couple of links to samples I've done, nothing special but I think they do the job ;)
