If you want really easy ones to help build rhythm, like the one you posted, I suggest Everclear tabs. You can't get much easier than them. What I really suggest finding a song that is not too fast but has some tough changes, because that kind of song improves your skills more than simple songs. Cake's version of I Will Survive did that for me. Obviously you want to pick something attainable, but hard enough that it takes a few days to get it sounding like the actual song. Stretching your limits is the only way that you will get better.

I must say, that is so true. I was working with easy tabs before. Then I was listening to some songs and said to myself that I need a challenge a diffucult one but an attainable one. So I started on "Bombtrack" from Rage Against the Machine. Now I got it very well. Recently I have been working on :My Friend of Misery" from Metallica I got it but I got to get the occasional buzzes out. Just do what he said and it will come.

I am just learning the bass as well and I have found that the really simple songs get boring. Just like Jose, i learned Bombtrack from Rage Against the Machine as well. it has some parts that take some practice but when you listen to the song you can hear the bass line really well which helps on timing. Also try out some simple blues bass lines. they repeat the same motion on different parts of the bass but you actually feel like you are playing a whole song. check the beginners lessons.

You should start with listening to songs you like and try to play along with them. Try to find the notes and the feel.
I suggest to start with basslines from Nirvana and other grunge artists. Or possibly 'Another one bites the dust (Queen)' or 'rapper's delight (Sugar Hill Gang)'.
I first started with finding the tones of 'Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits)'.

If you need more help, just ask me, I just love women playing the bass!
