i think some webhosts, like geocities (i think) dont allow remote picture hosting. mine is like that, and i havent moved it onto a new host yet. what service is yours posted on?

I was thinking this the other day. How long does my homepage take on your connection, and what are you using (56k?)? I think it might be getting a bit graphics heavy.

actually, your homepage took no time at all....i'm using ol' ntlworld cheapass 128k "broadband"....but that bitmap took chuffin hours

Don't use bitmap format for the internet. The pictures become much too large and many browsers do not understand it or render it.

Use some sort of graphics program other than MS Paint to save it in JPEG format (.jpg). You can use Photoshop (expensive), Paintshop Pro (cheap shareware) or all sorts of programs that come free with scanners, digital cameras and the like.

You should direct your comment to sabastian. I only copied the code on his page to see if it worked.

Sebastian, Villagephotos.com will host your pics for free up to a certain bandwidth of usage per day.....
