Why is my picture not working?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but I tried to get my picture onto my homepage and it won't work. The URL works when I put it into the browser, but on my homepage it just shows that frustrating red X. What am I doing wrong?

I was thinking this the other day. How long does my homepage take on your connection, and what are you using (56k?)? I think it might be getting a bit graphics heavy.

Don't use bitmap format for the internet. The pictures become much too large and many browsers do not understand it or render it.

Use some sort of graphics program other than MS Paint to save it in JPEG format (.jpg). You can use Photoshop (expensive), Paintshop Pro (cheap shareware) or all sorts of programs that come free with scanners, digital cameras and the like.

You should direct your comment to sabastian. I only copied the code on his page to see if it worked.
