Are you sure one of those two is the one for you? I'd try lots of kinds to determine if it is the best bass for you, and take your time. I think Long and Mcquade carries Warwick, if you have one in your area.

oh im pretty sure i want the musicman, ive been trying to et one for almost 2 years now. But recently someone suggested that i try the Thumb bass cuz its got great tone for funk. So i would like to check it out. I have tried the Fenders, Yamahas, Ibanez, Wasburns, Carvins and the Stingrays, oh i also tried a Sadowsky once while in NY, that would be my first choice if i has the funds:-(

But out of all the rest i loved the Stingray and i am almost ready to buy it until this warwick advice came to me from a freaind of mine and now i want to try one just to see and make the right decision.

I know that Long and McQuade in Ottawa has them - at least they did when I was there last just a few months ago. Very nice basses - had me drooling. Check out the store again.
