I recently purchased an 80s Guild Pilot off of eBay for a few hundred dollars. It is in really good condition with only a couple of minor scratches. I'm a beginner and will be using this bass to learn on.

I don't have much information on the Pilots as to how they're generally regarded. The resale on them seems to be pretty low for a USA made bass. Is there a reason for the low resale value?

Also, does anyone have any feedback on the quality and sound?
