now that you covered exercises for the first week,i'll come with two important techniques for bass players regardless of style, these are general. first one is called roll fingering, when you want to play two different notes which are in the same fret but different strings, you won't raise your hand and press the other string again, you just roll your left hand finger in the way that you can play notes after each other,as an example if you want to play 3rd fret on E atring and then 3rd fret on A string you should use the tip of your index finger for pressing the E string and roll the finger so that you can press A string with the softer part of the finger. in order to do thing you should lay your left hand fingerd on the fretboard as much as possible for easier fingering,if you take a look at most of pro bass playerd they use their fingers like this. ok now go a head and do the exercise remember ta alternate your fingers or pick for the right hand, these exercises are 3 ones which makes you to roll all your left hand fingers, the first one has a roll for index and pinky, let me write the left hand fingering for it:(the letter r means roll fingering) 1 2 3 4r43 2 1r1 2 3 4r4 3 2 1 ans so on. start with tempo 60 and speed up after you covered the current tempo and repeat the same pattern till you reach the 12 fret
