This piece is played using tapping techniques. I can post the finger placements and hand positions if you wish, just send me a note and I'll get them out. Thanks and enjoy! Here are the finger placements as requested. Because this is a tapping piece, you will be using both hands on the fret board. First, If you're a right handed bassist, play all of the notes on the E and G strings with your left hand, and all of the notes on the A and D strings with your right hand (except were noted). If you're left handed, just flip it. For measures 1-3, use your Left hand Index finger for the notes on the E string, your right hand Index finger for the notes on the A string, your right hand ring finger for the notes on the D string, and your Left hand pinky for the notes on the G string. For measure 4, Tap the 15 with your left hand pinky and hold it in place, hammer on the 17th fret with your right hand middle finger, and pull off your middle finger to play the 15 that your still holding. Next, tap the 19th fret on the D string with your right hand ring finger, then slide it down to the 17th fret. After that, tap the 17th fret on the A string with your right hand middle finger, and the 13th fret on the E string with your left hand index finger. For measures 5, 7, and 9, follow the same finger placement as you would for measures 1-3. For measures 6, 8, 11, and 12 you will play with the same finger placements as measures 1-3, except that you will hammer on the high notes on the third beat of each of these measures with your right hand middle finger. For the 10th measure, do the same thing, but hammer on the 19th fret with your right hand middle finger, then slide up to the 20th fret, and back down to the 19th. And that's all there is to it. Just remember that, this is the way I play it, if you have an alternative way, by all means use it. Have fun with it and let me know if there are any questions.
