Like I said, I just use this to get the timing and fingering on the bass, so I know where my fingers want to be.

The first time through I play it straight, nothing funky. The second time I let the open notes play the entire time, running amok and giving an undertone to the practice. The third time I play it with all the last notes ringing as well so that when I place my finger on say from 10 to 11 the tone changes there and from 11 to 10 also
