This lesson is straight forward. It just takes time to practice it slowly and play it cleanly. As always, build up speed only after you can play it perfectly. This pattern can be repeated easily with no break in the beat. Where to Shift
This is where you shift during this exercise, starting from the beginning. On the D string shift on F->G on your 2nd finger. On the G string after the D-C-D pattern shift from your 4th finger to the E on your 1st finger. After the F-E-F pattern, shift from your 2nd finger to your 1st finger on G. Finally, after the A-G-A pattern shift to the high-B on your 1st finger so you can then play the B, C and D with fingers 1, 2, and 4 respectively.
The way back down is the same shifting, just in reverse. Good luck.
