This piece is written in one of my favorite scales, I have really been working with it on the keyboard. I guess it should be called a E harmonic minor, and the differnce between this and the classic minor, is that the seventh is raised a half step to a D sharp.

This scale has a middle eastern feel, with a classical tinge.
