My First Step In A Bass

by Alejandro Arevalo Berrios (138)

Pages: 1 Suggested Tempo: 120

Hi, this lesson can help you in digitation in your left hand.

Ok this is very simple, we call the first finger 1, the mayor finger 2, the ring finger 3 and the little finger 4.

We started the exercises in the E string, is 1 finger in F, 2 in F#, 3 in G and 4 in G#,practice that and when you get the exercises you can continue. Ok then in the A string is: 1 in A#, 2 in B, 3 in C and 4 in C#,in the D string is: 1 in D#, 2 in E, 3 in F and 4 in F#, and the G string is: 1 in G#, 2 in A, 3 in A# and 4 in B.

Ok is not necesary do it fast, try to get a clear sound and do it in your own time, not fast and not to slow, thas depend only in you.

Well, try to do the exercise two times in each string. The structure is: E,A,D,G,D,A and E. Then try to do itercalate, and the structure is: E,D,A,G,D,E,G and A. And the last exercises, is the secuence E,A,D,G. When you play the E whith the 4 finger in the G string in E, play in the same string: 1 in A, 2 in A#,3 in B and 4 in C. Then in the D string is: 1 in E, 2 in F, 3 in F# and 4 in G, if you notes is the same structure but one space be side, so when you play the E string, play 1 in G, 2 in G#, 3 in A and 4 in A#, and there you go, try to do it so far if you can and when you come to the last space, do the exercise back but whit the same structure.

When you play the exercise intercalate the fingers whit the rigt hand that is 1,2,1,2,1,2... The idea is not reply the fingers move
