This line adapts the technique to a solo setting. The notes are left to ring, and there is ample use of open strings. The texture is thick, almost organ-like, and it would overwhelm virtually anything if played as an accompaniment. On its own it is best played with the low end rolled off, and perhaps some compression and a chorus effect.

As in the previous example, not all of the arpeggios are played bottom to top; by reversing the direction of one or more of the arpeggios, you avoid monotony in your homophony.
