I hate to give a history lesson here, but for those who dont know, Byzanthium, happened to be the eastern wing of the Roman Empire. And ironicaly, it outlasted the Romans by almost a thousand years, until it was later sacked by the Turks in the 15th century. Oh how history can be cruel.
