Tuning Your Bass

by Joey Leichman (1764)

Pages: 1 2 Suggested Tempo: 120

Most of you, if stuck without a tuner, do the standard E-A-D-G relative tuning where you play the 5th fret of one string and then play the next string on the bass and make it sound the same. However, this is a flawed technique, because the human ear can't pick up sounds as low as the low E if it's the first note you play when tuning.
