This is not a lesson it more like a suggestion
but I feel it's an important one.
The basic fundamental was put in the lesson header
Five years ago me and a drummer friend decided to make
a funk fusion experimental band ( instrumental stuff only )
we found a place to put my amp and the drummer's kit and
started to rehearse while looking for a guitarist and other
instruments for the band.
The outcome ?
Nobody was found due to the complexity fo the themesbut we did
Three years of intense drum and Bass rehersals
that got me AND the drummer into higher levels of technique.
trying to fill the sounds of missing instruments with ours
What I'm trying to say is :
Find a drummer and practice your HANDS OFF
it will help you in terms you can't imagine
Pratcice avery slap,pop,shriek,tap,fingering,scale,anything...
Ask a Pro,Older bassist,teacher you know...
about this I'm 100% positive they will tell you the same thing
And if it is your band's drummer you got the best thing arround
and going to do it better.
