Groovy Slap / Hammer-on Exercize

by Kristof Taveirne (10)

Pages: 1 Suggested Tempo: 120

This is actualy some groovy tune i found when I was so addicted to my bass after hearing some grooves of Bill "thebuddha" Dickens. This is nothing like his stuff, but it is what i came up with.
There is a lot of Slapping, Hammering and Pulling going on here. You should know that every note on the A-string should be knocked on with your groovy thumb.

All those other strings (including your girlfriends ;) ) are pulled with your favorite righthand Pullmaster. But that's not all: the first F played on the A-string (A8) should be hammered on with that left middlefinger of yours in both measures.
I hope you will be able to figure what I mean.
This sample should help you out a bit.
On more thing: play this groovy, swingable and loosy.
