This version uses double stops; that is, playing two notes at the same time on two different strings. It's just octave doubling of the slide. Use your index and ring finger to maintain the octave interval. Pluck the first note with your thumb on the lower string and middle finger on the higher string. Pluck the first note, slide up to the next note, and pluck the second note again.

Pace yourself if you haven't done much with slides before . . . your fingers will get VERY tender!

This is obviously just a solid groove to play under someone else's solo. Bring in a harmonica player to fill out the effect!
